Our new website has gone live here at www.suresearch.org.uk, this weekend. The site may not always be available or may behave a little strangely while this process completes.

At our meeting, on Friday, members had an opportunity to see a preview of the site.

We have rebuilt the website ourselves with invaluable support from web trainer and designer, Phil Choi. The new site has a similar page structure to the old  site, but has:

  • expanded content,
  • a refreshed appearance,
  • better integration with material on the University of Birmingham website,
  • and improved functionality of the News and Views blog section.

Behind the scenes, we will have more control over the appearance and  maintenance of the site, and more sustainable options for hosting and technical support.

This has been achieved as part of our Awards For All Lottery funded project, Suresearch2017, which is focused on developing our website.

There is still time for members to send us new material for the site, for posting before the end of the year.

Reports on members’ activities and events, news and views on mental health topics, and creative writing are all very welcome.
